ART GP and Mercedes-Benz enjoyed a long-term partnership in Formula 3. Together, they already achieved 78 victories, 55 pole positions and 70 fastest laps in eight seasons. Overall they have won 7 team titles and 6 drivers’ titles (Jamie Green, Lewis Hamilton, Paul di Resta, Romain Grosjean, Nico Hülkenberg and Jules Bianchi).
Mercedes-Benz has a huge experience in motorsports and is currently competing in Formula One, where they are reigning world drivers’ and constructors’ champions, DTM, Formula 3 and in several GT series with the AMG Customer sports program.
Participating in DTM since 1988, Mercedes-Benz is the most successful manufacturer with 173 wins so far. Likewise the Mercedes-Benz DTM C-Class is the most successful car in the history of DTM.
This season, Mercedes-Benz competes with eight Mercedes-AMG C 63 DTM cars in its line-up. Two of these cars will be run by ART Grand Prix, making its debut in the DTM championship.
The German squad is working with an outstanding group of drivers who combine talent, experience, youth and energy. For the 2015 season, ART will run with team leader Gary Paffett alongside the talented youngster Lucas Auer.
