The GP2 Asia Series

The GP2 Asia series opened its doors in 2008, and take part in Asia and middle-east namely Dubai, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Indonesia and Malaysia.

The GP2 Asia series uses the same concept as the successful G2 Europe series that enabled drivers like Hamilton, Rosberg, Kovalainen, Glock or even Hulkenberg and Maldonado to get their feet onto the starting grid of F1 events.

The GP2 Asia series is the first championship to transfer know-how and technology from single-seaters on a very high level in countries which are now open to autosport.
