What is Blancpain?

The Blancpain GT Series is a European Touring Car Championship, established in 2011 around the legendary race: the 24 hours of Spa-Francorchamps. Indeed, this race was no longer part of the World Endurance Championship so SRO (Stephane Ratel Organisation) decided to create a championship around the famous Belgian Endurance race. Homologated by the FIA and presented by SRO and RACB (Royal Automobile Club of Belgium), the championship is also supported by the famous Swiss watchmaker Blancpain.

Divided into several categories between professional and amateur drivers, SRO seeks to ensure a balance of performance between cars and has a high reactivity to correct any performance increase. With an average of 50 cars entered in each season, composed by professional and amateur drive teams on GT3 and GT4 cars, the Blancpain Endurance Series is a real success on the European Endurance races stage.
