Qualifying
Sometimes taking place in extremely high track temperatures and interrupted by red flags, the various sessions at Monza proved difficult to read in terms of extracting the full potential of the package.
Kush endured a challenging free practice programme, which was confirmed in qualifying with the 21st-fastest time. Tasanopol found better conditions and made it into the top 10.
Sprint Race
After making an excellent start, Tasanopol moved up to second place before his pace began to fade. Towards the end of the race, he went straight on at the first chicane and lost the points he had been hoping to score.
Feature Race
Another strong start propelled Tasanopol into third place, which he consolidated during a solid opening stint. Returning to the track two laps after several rivals following his mandatory pit stop, and struggling to extract performance from the hard tyres, he lost a few positions before fighting back to eighth.
Kush did everything he could to offset the disadvantage of his grid position by delaying his pit stop. A neutralization just one lap later would have optimized his strategy and given him a chance to fight for points. He ultimately finished 17th.

“Tas found a good rhythm in qualifying despite the challenge of having only one genuine flying lap. In the Sprint, despite an excellent start, a few mistakes prevented him from scoring points, while the timing of his pit stop the following day was not optimal. Nevertheless, he scored points for the seventh time in the last nine races and continues to make excellent progress in learning the ropes of a highly competitive championship.”
