Kanato Le continues with ART in FIA Formula 3 for 2026 !

ART Grand Prix is pleased to announce that Kanato Le will take the next step in his career by joining the team for the 2026 FIA Formula 3 Championship. The Japanese driver competed with ART Grand Prix in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine (FRECA) during the 2025 season, and will continue his journey with the French squad as he graduates to the higher category.

This progression reflects ART Grand Prix’s commitment to supporting its drivers over the long term and giving them the best environment to grow step by step in their careers. For Kanato, FIA Formula 3 will be a demanding new challenge, one that will allow him to build on the experience gained in FRECA and continue his development in the highly competitive world of single-seaters.

Kanato Le

“I’m super excited to be racing in FIA F3 next season with ART GP. I am really grateful for the opportunity they have given me to be able to race in this championship. It’s been a good year working with the team in FRECA this season and I look forward to getting started in F3. I’d like to thank everyone who has helped me get to this point and trusting me. I will work hard with the team to achieve good results so I’m really looking forward to it.”

Sébastien Philippe – Team Principal

“Kanato’s move to F3 is the natural continuation of his journey with ART Grand Prix. After two seasons in FRECA, he will now discover an even more demanding category, where every detail makes the difference. Kanato already knows the team and how it operates, which will help him integrate smoothly and focus fully on his driving. This continuity is important both for him and for us, and we are looking forward to the next stages of his development.”
