ART Grand Prix wishes a very warm welcome to Zak O’Sullivan, the newest addition to their Formula 2 team for the upcoming 2024 season.
Zak has swiftly ascended the motorsport ladder, transitioning from karting to racing cars in 2019. During his inaugural season in motorsport, the British driver impressed by securing the runner-up position in the Ginetta Junior Championship and claiming the honor of being the highest placed rookie. 2020 witnessed Zak’s venture into the British F4 championship, where he missed out on the title by just three points.
Zak has had a remarkable journey, one which is marked by numerous achievements in his young career. He secured the GB3 Championship title, where he remarkably secured seven victories and graced the podium a total of 14 times during his debut season in the category. His most recent triumph was securing several wins in the 2023 Formula 3 championship where he ended the season as runner up.
“I’m delighted about the collaboration between Zak and ART Grand Prix. He’s a driver we’ve been following for a long time, and he has consistently elevated his level of performance. His background and mindset align with ART Grand Prix’s mission of supporting young drivers to the highest levels of motorsport. It’s with pleasure and honor that we welcome a member of the Williams Racing Driver Academy. With proper winter preparation, his racing approach and adaptability should enable him to compete at the front.”
